Sourdough pie crust


What You’ll Need

  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • 1 Tbsp Sugar

  • 1 Cup Cold Butter (grated)

  • 3/4 cup Sourdough Discard


Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients

  2. Grate butter and mix in until mixture is crumbly

  3. Mix in Sourdough Discard

  4. Once it starts to come together, you can use your hands to press everything together.

  5. Shape into ball and leave on the counter for 1 hour

  6. Chill in fridge for 1 hour

  7. Cut dough in half

  8. Roll each half out; one is your bottom and one is your top.

  9. Place on of your flattened halves in the bottom of your pie die, fill with your choice of filling.

  10. Place second half on top, and pinch around the edge.

  11. Poke form holes in the top

  12. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes (ish) or until golden brown
