Apple Pie Filling
What You’ll Need
8 Apples peeled and slices
1/4 Cane Sugar
1/4 Regular Sugar
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Butter
1 Tsp Cornstarch
Instructions
Heat pan to medium with butter, add everything else, simmer down until apples are soft and cooked.
Mix cornstarch with a splash of cold water, and add to the pan- this will thicken your filling.
Once filling is thickened, remove from heat.
I prefer to let my filling cook before putting it into my pie but that’s not necessary.
