Apple Pie Filling


What You’ll Need

  • 8 Apples peeled and slices

  • 1/4 Cane Sugar

  • 1/4 Regular Sugar

  • 2 Tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup Butter

  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch


Instructions

  1. Heat pan to medium with butter, add everything else, simmer down until apples are soft and cooked.

  2. Mix cornstarch with a splash of cold water, and add to the pan- this will thicken your filling.

  3. Once filling is thickened, remove from heat.

  4. I prefer to let my filling cook before putting it into my pie but that’s not necessary.
