What You’ll Need
1 cup dried oregano
1 cup olive oil or avocado oil or any neutral oil
1 sanitized jar
Instructions
Place dried organic oregano into a clean, sanitized jar.
Add your olive oil or any neutral oil you prefer and mix together.
Let it sit in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks. Invert to mix it occasionally.
When it’s ready, decant the liquid using a cheesecloth into a clean, sanitized jar.
Label it with the date you prepared it, date when it is ready for use, and its expiry date.
How to clean and sanitize jars & lids:
Wash jar and bottles in hot soapy water, rinse well and place in the oven at 220 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool and use.
How to Use + Storage
- Typical Oil of Oregano dosage: 3-5 drops 1-2 times daily up to 10 days
- Other uses: cooking, soups, etc.
