Mullein Tea

Mullein leaves are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent and expectorant.
Mullein is your lung ally- great for helping the healing of lung tissue and expelling mucus- useful for chest and lung issues such as asthma, bronchitis and laryngitis.

*Do not use mullein if you are pregnant or breast feeding. In some people, it can cause skin irritations, stomach pain, and breathing difficulties. These are allergic reactions, so discontinue use if these symptoms occur.*


What You’ll Need

  • 1/2 oz dried mullein leaf

  • 1 qt boiling water

  • 1 qt mason jar


Instructions

  1. Add dried mullein leaf in a jar and fill all the way up with boiling water.

  2. Put a lid on and steep for 4 hours.

  3. Strain using a cheesecloth and/or fine mesh strainer into a new clean jar. Store in the fridge.


How to Use + Storage

- Drink 8 oz 2-3 times daily.
- Keep refrigerated.
