Ginger Lemon Wellness Shots
Use a juicer or a blender. We’ll tell ya how to make it either way.
What You’ll Need
1 lb fresh ginger
6-7 large lemons
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 cup raw honey (optional)
Instructions - Using a Juicer
Wash your ginger thoroughly and peel them if you’d like. Peel your lemons and save them for later.
Juice your ginger and lemons.
When it’s done, add cold water and mix.
Add honey to taste.
Pour the mixture into 2 oz. jars and refrigerate. Use within a week. Or you can pour into ice cube trays and freeze them.
Instructions - Using a Blender
Wash your ginger thoroughly and peel them if you’d like. Peel your lemons and save them for later.
Blend your ginger, lemons, and water together.
Pour the mixture over a cheesecloth lined fine mesh strainer and let it sit for several minutes. Gather the edges of the cheesecloth and twist until the pulp is dry. Discard pulp.
If you don’t have cheesecloth, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and press the mixture against the strainer with a wooden spoon until all the juices are expelled from it. Discard pulp.
Pour your juice into 2 oz. jars and refrigerate. Use within a week. Or you can pour into ice cube trays and freeze them.
