Sourdough discard chocolate chip cookies


What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup all purpose flour

  • 1 cup whole grain flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar

  • 1/2 cup butter melted

  • 1/2 cup discard

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 egg + 1 yolk

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients.

  3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and combine.

  4. Fold in your chocolate chips.

  5. Let rest on the counter for 4 to 6 hours or overnight in the fridge.

  6. Bake at 375 F for 12 mins.
